Looking at the recent trends in online concerts, mixing dance with Baroque music or the slow gentrification of the Early Music revolution since the 70s, this session asks why we still need concert halls in the XXIth century, what happens on the stage, and where the artistic freedom of performers stands, on the large spectrum of Historically informed practices.

Over dinner, learn how to pair Flemish ales with music in a typical Bruges brewery: De Halve Maan. This meal is included in the summit entry fee. This evening will highlight the Ukrainian repertoire and early music scene.

We are delighted to welcome Ukrainian harpsichordist Dmytro Kokoshynskyy, who will be performing works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Jean-Henri d’Anglebert, Gyorgy Ligeti and Johann Kuhnau.

Members of the PARTES ensemble will be devoting a concert to works by Dmytro Tuptalo, Mykola Dyletsky and Maxym Berezovskyi.
